Dr Richard Gibson

Richard is a Family Physician of the old school, interested in meeting and working with the whole person, not just the disease.

After years gaining a broad range of general experience in the rural hospitals of South Africa, Richard’s family relocated to Perth.  Starting off at Armadale Hospital ED and then moving into local general practice, Richard has been embedded in the Armadale community.  While working in general practice here, he recognised a need for more specialized adolescent health care in general practice, as well as the issues of men’s engagement in health.

Richard completed the Graduate Diploma of Adolescent Health and Wellbeing in Melbourne, worked at headspace Armadale for 4 years and served the students at 2 of Perth’s universities for 6 years.

As a generalist, Richard is attentive to the whole person on their whole life journey.  Reasons you may want to see Richard include.
